Day 1: Coimbatore → Ooty (Nilgiri Hills)

• Pickup from Coimbatore. Scenic drive to Ooty via Mettupalayam (90 km, 2.5 hrs).
• Breakfast en route in Mettupalayam (own expense).
• Arrive in Ooty. Check-in and freshen up.
• Visit Doddabetta Peak (2,637m) – the highest point in the Nilgiris.
• Visit Ooty Botanical Garden – 55 acres of landscaped beauty.
• Lunch (own expense).
• Visit Rose Garden and Thread Garden.
• Drive to Pykara Falls & Lake (22 km) – waterfall and optional boating.
• Ooty Lake – evening ambiance, optional boating.
• Local market shopping – chocolates, Nilgiri tea, eucalyptus oil.
• Return to hotel. Dinner (own expense). Overnight stay in Ooty.

Day 2: Ooty → Wayanad (Forest & Caves)

• Breakfast and check-out.
• Drive from Ooty to Wayanad via Gudalur – Pandalur route (100 km, 3.5 hrs). This scenic route passes through the Mudumalai – Bandipur forest corridor – watch for elephants, deer, and peacocks on the road.
• Arrive in Wayanad (Kalpetta area). Check-in and lunch (own expense).
• Visit Edakkal Caves – ancient rock shelters with petroglyphs dating back 6,000+ years. A short 1 km uphill trek to reach the cave entrance. One of the most unique historical sites in South India.
• Visit Soochipara Falls (Sentinel Rock Falls) – a magnificent 3-tiered waterfall with a 200m drop. Natural pool at the base for swimming (seasonal). Trek down 15 mins.
• Visit Pookode Lake – a freshwater lake surrounded by forest. Optional pedal boating (charges extra).
• Return to hotel. Dinner (own expense). Overnight stay in Wayanad.

Day 3: Wayanad → Mysore (Royal Heritage)

• Breakfast and check-out.
• Visit Banasura Sagar Dam – India's largest earthen dam with stunning mountain-and-water views. Optional speed boating (charges extra). Spend 1 hour.
• Drive from Wayanad to Mysore via Gundlupet (120 km, 3 hrs). The route passes through the Bandipur Tiger Reserve – excellent chance of wildlife sightings from the road itself.
• Arrive in Mysore. Check-in and lunch (own expense).
• Visit the magnificent Mysore Palace (Amba Vilas Palace) – one of India's most visited monuments. The Indo-Saracenic masterpiece is a visual spectacle. Allow 2 hours for a complete tour.
• Visit Chamundi Hills – hilltop temple dedicated to Goddess Chamundeshwari. Panoramic views of Mysore city. See the iconic Nandi bull statue on the way.
• Mysore Palace illumination (Sundays & public holidays only – 97,000 bulbs light up the palace). If not Sunday, explore Devaraja Market – one of India's oldest trading markets.
• Return to hotel. Dinner (own expense). Overnight stay in Mysore.

Day 4: Mysore → Coimbatore (Heritage & Return)

• Breakfast and check-out.
• Visit St. Philomena's Cathedral – one of the largest churches in India, built in Neo-Gothic style. Stunning interior.
• Visit Brindavan Gardens at KRS Dam – the famous symmetrical terraced gardens (subject to water levels and opening schedule).
• Begin return drive to Coimbatore via Nanjangud – Gundlupet – Bandipur – Gudalur – Mettupalayam route (230 km, approx. 5.5 hrs with stops).
• Lunch en route near Gundlupet (own expense).
• Arrive in Coimbatore. Drop at Railway Station / Airport / Hotel. Tour Ends.
